COMMENTS FROM THE POLITOLOGIST

Statement of the Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russian Federation on accusations against Russian peacekeepers, made on June 1,2006, was commented to the correspondent of “Res” agency by politologist Irina Kajaeva:

«The Government of Georgia is carrying out activities to discredit not only the peacekeeping contingent but Russia in general. With the content of the West Georgia is planning another military gamble and Russia not only has to take a harder position against the Government of Georgia but has to show to the International Community the real picture.”
