The Independence Day of Russia is celebrated in South Ossetia as 98% of the citizens of the Republic f South Ossetia are citizens of Russia.
Today, are organized different cultural arrangements. At the theater square of the capital of the Republic –Tskhinval a number of social organizations organized celebrations, in the evening will take place a concert, devoted to the Independence Day of Russia.
At the press-center of the Printing House the non-government organizations organized a round table on: “Role of Russia in the political processes of Caucasus”. 12 June is a day off for the Republic of South Ossetia.
