Today a telephone conversation took place between the President of Republic of South Ossetia and the President of Republic of Abkhazia Sergey Bagapsh. The Presidents discussed the current situation around the Republics.
The urge of Georgia towards new escalation of the situation in the Georgian-Ossetian conflict zone was noted. The assumption was proved by the yesterday’s incident with the Georgian military helicopter which is a result of systematic violations of the air space of the RSO. Eduard Kokoity and Sergey Bagapsh specified the details of mutual assistance in case of escalation in the conflict zones.
