REFERENDUM OF THE REPUBLIC OF SOUTH OSSETIA WILL TAKE PLACE ON 12 NOVEMBER, 2006

Referendum of the Republic of South Ossetia will take place on 12 November, 2006. A Decree on the referendum was signed by the President of the RSO Eduard Kokoity. According to the Decree at the referendum will be raised only one question: “Do you agree with South Ossetia to retains its status and to be recognized by the International Community?”.
The date of the Referendum coincides with the date of elections of the President of South Ossetia.
