Одним из приоритетов работы мэрии Цхинвала на сегодняшний день остается улучшение архитектурного облика столицы. Об этом корреспонденту «Рес» сообщил мэр Цхинвала Роберт Гулиев.
По его словам, «на днях уже можно будет увидеть один из первых госзаказов «Ирдизайну» - осетинские герб и флаг и российские герб и флаг напротив фонтана. Гербы будут изнутри подсвечиваться, а флаги дополнительно освещаться. Проект уже запущен, все работы ведутся».

Некоторые «слишком умные» журналисты, вероятно, считают своих читателей слепыми и глухими. Такое впечатление складывается после прочтения опубликованного сегодня на «Кавказском узле» материала Эдиты Бадасян «Ситуация с водоснабжением в зоне конфликта: взаимные обвинения властей Грузии и Южной Осетии».

16 июля, во Владикавказе, состоялась встреча Главы Республики Северная Осетия-Алания Таймураза Мамсурова и Президента Республики Южная Осетия Эдуарда Кокойты. По сообщению пресс-службу главы и правительства РСО-А, на встрече обсуждались вопросы, связанные с установлением эффективного контроля над обстановкой в Южной Осетии и мероприятий по обеспечению безопасности ее жителей.

Грузинская сторона минирует территорию зоны грузино-осетинского конфликта. В районе грузинонаселенного населенного пункта Авнев на минах уже подорвались несколько коров.

Here when the world community recognizes the independence of the Republic of South Ossetia, then we will solemnly see the peacemakers off. But for the present they will remain here», Boris Chochiev has told.

On July, 13th, 2007 in Tskhinval took place the working meeting of the co-chairmen of JCC from the South-Ossetian, the Russian and the North-Ossetian parties. The participants of the meeting have estimated the situation in the zone of the georgian-ossetian conflict as tending to further aggravation, have discussed the possible ways of settlement of the accumulated problems, leading to aggravation of intensity in the region. The parties have expressed deep concern about the proceeding slipping of the negotiating process on the background of placing illegal posts of the power structures, construction of fortifications and the other actions of the Georgian side, leading to aggravation of the armed opposition.

Today the Minister of Foreign Affairs of RSO Murat Dzhioev has accepted the representatives of the Mission of OSCE. During the meeting a new employee of the Mission, the officer on military monitoring from Czechia Ivan Trnka have been presented to the Minister.

The tripartite advisory meeting of the co-chairmen of the Joint Control Commission (JCC) on settlement of the georgian-ossetian conflict from Russia, the Republic of North Ossetia-Аlania and the Republic of South Ossetia takes place in Tskhinval. During the meeting it is planned to discuss the situation that has developed in the zone of the georgian-ossetian conflict.
