A plenary session of JCC takes place in the second half of September

The co-chairmen of JCC from the south-ossetian and the north-ossetian parties have taken into account the information of the Russian co-chairman about the held by him meeting with the georgian co-chairman of the Commission on the eve in Tbilisi. It is spoken about in a communiqué on results of the working meeting of the co-chairmen of the Joint Control Commission on settlement of the georgian-ossetian conflict from the south-ossetian, the Russian and the north-ossetian parties. They have positively estimated the reached by the Russian and the Georgian co-chairmen understanding on necessity of holding a plenary session of JCC in Tbilisi in later terms, roughly in the second half of September of this year instead of the before planned for August, 9th-10th of this year.
The South-Ossetian party has expressed its readiness to consider positively the question of participation in a plenary session of JCC in Tbilisi in the offered terms on condition of receiving international guarantees of safety of the delegation on the territory of Georgia. The Russian party has undertaken to assist in contacts with the international organizations and the georgian party on development of a comprehensible for the south-ossetian party formula of guarantees of safety.
