President of RSO Eduard Kokoity awarded journalists

President of the Republic of South Ossetia Eduard Kokoity awarded the best journalists of 2007 with diplomas and monetary prizes. The awards were presented on 2 February. Correspondents of “Res” Information Agency were also among laureates. The awards were presented to them in nomination of “On-line information”. Eduard Kokoity emphasized last year achievements of South Ossetian journalists and made a call to continue the work in 2008 in the same way, be more active, operational and wonderful. Besides President of RSO allocated funds to mass media to enhance material and technical basis. All in all 12 journalists received awards.
The best journalists were selected from different informational agencies of South Ossetia. Three state newspapers are published in the Republic (“Yuzhnaya Osetia”, “Khurzarin”, “Respublika”), broadcasted STRC “IR”, functioned state information agency “Res”.
