Anatoly Barankevich: «Claims of Georgia of joint custom checkpoints are totally ludicrous»

The Secretary of Security Council of the Republic of South Ossetia Anatoly Barankevich called totally ludicrous the claims of Georgian side of ostensibly achieved by Russia and Georgia agreement of establishment of joint Russian-Georgian customs checkpoints at the Russian-South-Ossetian and Russian-Abkhazian borders. “In the course of additional consultations I assured what I had been known – this is totally ludicrous. Georgian side issues their desire for reality. And broadcasting this misinformation is a kind of info war. They are doing this to impact on the Republic of South Ossetia citizens’ awareness and undermine their believe in our aspiration for independence and in Russia supporting us”- Anatoly Barankevich underlined.
