An appeal of the press-bureau of RSO Committee of State Security

On 28 February, at 15:30 in Dmenis settlement of Tskhinval district of RSO two members of MIA of South Ossetia were killed in the result of explosion. Two policemen also were conveyed to the Republic clinic with heavy wounds.
The explosion device had been planted in a TV set and fired as soon as it was switched on in the room of duty service of Dmenis settlement police station.
Presently the investigation teams of KGB and MIA are working there. The circumstances of the incident and provisional data are pointed to Georgian special services, aimed to destabilize the situation in South Ossetia. In fifteen subversive and terrorist acts have been killed 24 persons and 30 have been wounded since 2004. Today’s event again corroborates the fact that Georgian Government chose the policy of state terrorism as the main tool for Georgian-Ossetian conflict settlement.
