As part of the completion of mission, according to international protocol, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of South Ossetia to Russia Dmitry Medoev paid a farewell visit to colleagues - ambassadors of Abkhazia Igor Ahba and the Republic of Venezuela, Juan Vicente Torrealba.
As reported to IA "Res" by the press service of the embassy, during the visit Dmitry Medoev thanked his colleagues for the constructive cooperation and warm, friendly relations established during the joint service in Moscow.
"I am confident that the relations of friendship and spirit of cooperation between our Missions, established during our service, will continue," - said the ambassador.
Dmitry Medoev also assured his colleagues that "he is still open to dialogue in and is always ready to further cooperation for the benefit of our countries and peoples."
On the same day Medoev visited the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Foreign Ministry, where he was received by the rector of the institution, Professor Evgeny Bazhanov. They exchanged views on the status and future prospects of training of qualified personnel for South Ossetia.
Dmitry Medoev has noted the farewell nature of the visit and thanked the administration and the entire faculty of the reputable institution of higher education of the Russian Foreign Ministry for attention to the students from South Ossetia.

South Ossetian President Leonid Tibilov met with Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government, the Сhairman of the Russian part of the Intergovernmental Commission on soсio-economic cooperation between the two countries Alexander Khloponin. Russian official has arrived in the Republic to participate in the 13th session of the IGC, which will be held today in Tskhinval.

The Treaty of alliance and integration opens up new opportunities for Russian-Ossetian cooperation in all areas, said at a meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on socio-economic cooperation between South Ossetia and the Russian Federation, Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Alexander Khloponin.
According to him, it will be carried out a lot of work on the implementation of the Treaty, by the end of the year it should be completed.

In Tskhinval is under way the 13 meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on socio-economic cooperation between Russia and South Ossetia, co-chaired by the Prime Minister of South Ossetia Domenti Kulumbegov and Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Khloponin with the participation of representatives of ministries and agencies of the two countries.
"Each session of the IGC is important and significant in the development of South Ossetia and for the further development of bilateral cooperation," - said the President of South Ossetia Leonid Tibilov.
