Citizens of South Ossetia, jailed in Georgia on trumped-up charges, stopped the hunger strike

Citizens of South Ossetia, sentenced in 2005 by the Georgian court to life imprisonment on trumped-up charges, have stopped the hunger strike, which lasted since January 26. The action stopped after the Georgian authorities promised to consider the demand of the prisoners to review their criminal cases in the Georgian parliament.
As reported to IA "Res" by the wife of one of the prisoner George Valiev - Marina, "the prisoners, exhausted by the hunger strike, are gradually given light food."
