The number of detected cases of COVID-19 in South Ossetia increased by six in a day

The number of cases of coronavirus in South Ossetia has increased by six in a day, Anna Gagloeva, Deputy Head of the South Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee, told IA "Res" on Tuesday. A day earlier, 12 cases of the disease were detected.

"As of March 23, 3178 cases of coronavirus were registered in the Republic (2754 recovered), of which 6 new cases of COVID-19 in a day. In total, 64 tests were conducted the day before," Gagloeva said.

Pushkin Ball: South Ossetia has celebrated World Poetry Day

The annual "Pushkin Ball", timed to coincide with the World Poetry Day, took place on Tuesday in the Tskhinval school No 6. The event was organized with the support of the "Russian World" cabinet at the educational institution, headed by Inna Zubko.

The guests of the festive event were the Ambassador of Russia to South Ossetia Marat Kulakhmetov, representatives of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic, President of the Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature of South Ossetia Zalina Tedeeva, lectors of the South Ossetian State University.
