Pushkin Ball: South Ossetia has celebrated World Poetry Day

The annual "Pushkin Ball", timed to coincide with the World Poetry Day, took place on Tuesday in the Tskhinval school No 6. The event was organized with the support of the "Russian World" cabinet at the educational institution, headed by Inna Zubko.

The guests of the festive event were the Ambassador of Russia to South Ossetia Marat Kulakhmetov, representatives of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic, President of the Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature of South Ossetia Zalina Tedeeva, lectors of the South Ossetian State University.

World Theater Day will be celebrated in South Ossetia

World Theater Day - March 27, according to tradition, will be celebrated in the Melpomene Cathedral of South Ossetia with a festive performance.

The scriptwriters and directors are People's Artist of the Republic, director Fatima Kachmazova and theater artist Grigory Mamiev.

The Ered tragedy is shocking by its special cruelty and cynicism - Leonid Pasechnik

The head of the Lugansk People's Republic Leonid Pasechnik sent a telegram to President Anatoly Bibilov with the words of support on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Ered tragedy, the press service of the head of state reports.

The telegram reads, in part:

“Today people of South Ossetia are marking one of the most sorrowful dates - the Day of Remembrance for the Victims of the Ered tragedy.

In South Ossetia, for the first time in six months, no cases of coronavirus infection have been detected

South Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee conducted 48 tests in a day, for the first time since the fall of last year in a day there are no new cases of coronavirus disease, Deputy Head of the department Anna Gagloeva, told IA "Res" on Tuesday.

"As of March 16, 3146 cases of coronavirus infection were registered in the Republic, no one case in a day," Gagloeva said.

During the day, 10 people were removed from the medical register, another 471 remain under supervision. "The number of people who recovered for the entire period is 2,675," she added.
