LPR is the Republic of which the people dreamed - Pasechnik

The head of the Lugansk People's Republic, Leonid Pasechnik, at the end of his official visit to South Ossetia, shared with journalists his plans for the implementation of joint agreements.

“We intend to implement joint efforts to integrate with the Russian Federation, to raise the standard of living of the people, that will be a strong support for further recognition,” said Pasechnik.

In his opinion, the conflict in the Donbas could have been completed earlier by joint efforts.

The official visit of the head of the LPR to South Ossetia has been completed

The delegation of the Lugansk People's Republic, headed by President Leonid Pasechnik, came South Ossetia on a three-day official visit. The head of the LPR was accompanied by his wife Natalia Pasechnik. All negotiations took place the day before, according to their results on Wednesday the heads of South Ossetia and the LPR signed a Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance. Also there was a meeting of representatives of the LPR with representatives of the Parliament of the Republic.

Vazagov: The decision of the Strasbourg court was predictable

The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) has issued a decision that it will not consider the claims of residents of the Republic of South Ossetia to Georgia on the events of August 2008.

According to the South Ossetian expert Yuri Vazagov, this decision of the Strasbourg Court was predictable, since the political commitment and bias of the western judicial instances has long been known.

ECHR did not accept claims of Tskhinval residents against Georgia

The European Court of Human Rights announced on Thursday that did not see any grounds for accepting several lawsuits in which the residents of Tskhinval accused the Georgian armed forces of life-threatening actions.

As noted in the court’s press release, the ECHR will not consider two of the three lawsuits filed by residents of the Republic of South Ossetia against Georgia on the events of August 2008.
