The Georgian political elite continues to actively promote the myth of "Russian aggression", calling on the world community to increase pressure on Moscow. So, Tbilisi intends to force Russia to refuse to recognize the independence of South Ossetia and Abkhazia.

The revanchist sentiments of the Georgian establishment are fueled by the support of the western political community and the active assistance of NATO in creating the Republic’s military infrastructure.

Tbilisi’s desire to attract Washington’s resources to solve problems with Moscow has borne fruit.

The team of the Embassy of South Ossetia is silver medalist of the championship of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation

A team of the Embassy of the Republic of South Ossetia in the Russian Federation at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, in the framework of the XXX All-Russian Olympic Day, took part in the football tournament of the teams of Diplomatic Representations accredited in Russia.

The opening ceremony was attended by the head of the Olympic Committee of Russia Sergey Pozdnyakov, Minister of Sports of Russia Pavel Kolobkov, the heads of diplomatic missions, eminent athletes, etc.

Anatoly Bibilov at the congress of the "United Ossetia" called for cooperation with all political forces

The past parliamentary elections in South Ossetia showed that the overwhelming majority of voters in the Republic had chosen a political force that favors the unification of two Ossetia, said Anatoly Bibilov, President of the Republic.

“The political forces that are in favor of ensuring that South Ossetia is developing as an independent state have not get a large number of votes, the majority voted for United Ossetia. The party has once again proved that it has significant support of the society,” said the head of South Ossetia.

Positive improvements are expected in Geneva on the issue of the non-use of force – the EU co-chair

The co-chairs of the International discussions on security in Transcaucasia expect positive developments on the document on the non-use of force by Georgia against South Ossetia at the next round. Anatoly Bibilov to the Forum participants: If we are together, we will not be afraid of any obstacles

Governments of St. Petersburg and South Ossetia will sign a cooperation agreement

The governments of St. Petersburg and South Ossetia in autumn intend to sign an agreement on cooperation in the trade, economic, scientific, technical and humanitarian spheres, Chairman of the Government Eric Pukhaev said.

It should be noted that the South Ossetian delegation took part in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

According to the press service, “preliminary cooperation agreements between our governments were reached at the SPIEF site,”. At the moment, the parties are preparing a draft agreement, which, presumably, will be signed this fall.”

The head of the first Russian-Ossetian Forum, Deputy Chairperson of the Committee on Youth Policy, Sport and Tourism, Valentina Gatikoeva thanked all the participants of the Forum, noting that their arrival in the Republic is a manifestation of great respect for the people of South Ossetia.

The first Russian-Ossetian Youth forum has started in South Ossetia

The grand opening of the first Russian-Ossetian youth Forum took place at the Kosta Khetagurov State Drama Theater. The Forum began with a video about the project participants and a laser show about the history of the people of South Ossetia.

The state song and dance group "Simd" pleased the guests with its colorful performance - the national color and high professionalism of the group caused a lot of positive emotions, after which the Vice-Chairman of the Committee on Youth Policy, Sport and Tourism, director of the Forum Valentina Gatikoeva addressed the youth.

I express our desire to continue cooperation, - Bashar Assad

On the occasion of the first anniversary of the establishment of bilateral relations with the Republic of South Ossetia President of the Syrian Arab Republic, Bashar Assad, sent a telegram to President Anatoly Bibilov, the press service of the head of state said.

The head of Syria, addressing the President of South Ossetia, expressed "a desire to continue cooperation and make efforts, relying on the work done during the year, to strengthen bilateral relations in order to move towards new horizons of cooperation for the mutual benefit of our two nations."
