Such event, held in Moscow on January 26, has rightly caused negative reaction of the public of North and South Ossetia, and has demonstrated the willingness of the patriotic forces to suppress strictly such kind of provocations.

In Tskhinval have started the actions devoted to the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of Defence of South Ossetia and the Day of Defender of the Fatherland.

February 16 Council of the Moscow Ossetian community announced its decision, which reads as follows: "We are appealing to all the Ossetians in Moscow to take part in a demonstration at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation in support of the demand to recognize the genocide of the Ossetian people under the regime of Gamsakhurdia - Saakashvili from 1990 to 2008."

Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Republic of South Ossetia has recently expressed its negative attitude to the meeting of the head of the Georgian Orthodox Church with several ethnic Ossetians in Moscow. This is a provocative act and is the first step to implement the policy of the Georgian authorities to create a "democratic" image of the present-day Georgia, as well as the shifting of blame for crimes against the people of South Ossetia on Saakashvili.

The dress rehearsal for the concert program of the State Song and Dance Ensemble of the Republic of South Ossetia "Simd" has been held today in Tskhinval. The concert program will be presented in Nicaragua, where the ensemble plans to fly on February 17.
