«We must demand the recognition of the republic of South Ossetia, not just beg» - stated to IA «Res» correspondent the deputy of the Chairman of the Parliament of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania Stanislav Kesaev while commenting the process of RSO recognition.
«I hope now after the actions undertaking by the RF President the process of RSO recognition will not stop. I do understand that the recognition will not happen today or tomorrow but, unambiguously, this process should not stop and every day we should do something new for this». Stanislav Kesaev expresses a hope that South Ossetia will be supported in the question of recognition in Russian Federation wide political cycles. «I very much liked as much as possible officials in Russia to be aware that at the north and at the south of Ossetia will be done everything possible for obtaining of our common goal».
Stanislav Kesaev also mentioned that the Governments of the North and the South of Ossetia have not used all the recourses for achieving the main point of the nation yet. «Much backlog is left but I would like to mention that in this issue South Ossetian government went ahead of North Ossetian one. There is no enough co-ordination of actions today. We ought to be more pushing in dialog with Russia. One thing is to beg the recognition and the other is to demand it»-he said.
It is Stanislav Kesaev’s opinion that the division state of Ossetian people is another key factor in the national idea realization. «There is a principle of self-determination and a principle of inadmissibility of the division of nation in the international law. Out of three principles two are working for us. And what is most important we as a divided nation will unite by all means and then the international community will have nothing to say» - concluded Stanislav Kesaev.
