Construction works began in South Ossetia

Preparatory works for the unfolded reconstruction of houses damaged during the Georgian aggressions started in Tskhinval. Today, the first house had been demolished and cleaned up for a new house to be built. The Deputy Chairman of the RSO State committee on implementation of rehabilitation projects Vladimir Matveev reported this during the Committee session.
Detailed information is being gathered on each of the houses in order to identify if the house should be demolished or falls under renovation. The local directorate and State Unitary Enterprise had already started the work. Today, the first house has been demolished and removed the location identified by city administration", said Matveev.
"Moscow Commission will be issuing laboratory test conclusion on each of disputable house, in case if the house is to be demolished and the owner does not agree", added Matveev.
"The city is divided into 43 sectors. It is planned to build 334 private houses. A large construction project is planned to be carried out in Jewish quarter, as well as along the perimeter of the central streets to improve the appearance", concluded Matveev.
