South Ossetian journalists have participated in training course in multimedia journalism organized by RIA Novosti. Today, 29 September, in Moscow, the course for journalists from the republics of South and North Caucasus has finished.
For two weeks, journalists were trained at RIA Novosti, and communicated with experts, politicians and political scientists. Journalists also had the opportunity to attend a session of the Public Chamber, which discussed the situation in the North Caucasus.

"The courses organized by the RIA Novosti, gave us the opportunity to interact with politicians, political scientists and experts, access to which for us is quite complicated", said Madina Tskhovrebova, the training participant and correspondent of the South Ossetian radio IR, in her interview to IA RES. "Of course, this course provided an opportunity for professional growth and further development, as well as better understanding of the situation in our region and the ability to make shorter and longer term situation forecasts".
Twenty journalists from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Abkhazia, South Ossetia and the North Caucasus republics participated in the training. A cultural program was also organized for the trainees: the journalists visited the Kremlin, Suzdal, Vladimir and Bogolyubovo.
