Three people detained for violation of state border of South Ossetia

Officers of the RF FSB Border Guard Department in South Ossetia detained three Georgian citizens, residents of Gori, for illegal border crossing in the village of Tsinagar, Leningor district, reported the press service of the Russian FSB Border Guard Department in South Ossetia.

"The citizens of Georgia were detained Jan. 24, 2011. The detainees claimed that they had violated the border of South Ossetia with purpose of visiting their relatives in the village of Gdulet ", reads the press service report.
The detainees were transferred to the Border-Guard Department of the KGB of South Ossetia for further proceedings.
