In honour of celebration of the 66 anniversary of the victory in Great Patriotic War the "Soldier`s halt" has been organized for the veterans in Tskhinval. This action has been organized by the Border Management of the FSS of the RF in the RSO with the assistance of the Administration of the President of the RSO. President Eduard Kokoity, heads of the ministries and departments of the RSO, the servicemen, officers, representatives of the Border management of the FSS of the RF in the RSO and the 4-th russian military base, as well as the inhabitants of the Republic have called on the "Soldier`s halt» «to congratulate the veterans with this beautiful holiday. The President of the Republic has expressed great thanks to the organizers of the action, and wished the veterans long years of life.
"The Veterans of the Great Patriotic War have got today the unique possibility to return in youth for a short time and recollect their soldier`s halts of the military years", - has noted the state counselor Zasseeva Zhanna in the interview IA "Res". A festive party has been organized for the veterans of the Great Patriotic War. The songs of the military years were being sounded at the halt. The Veterans were communicating with the youth, telling them what a real soldier`s halt was during the short intervals between the battles.
