South Ossetia once again raises a question on non-use of force in Geneva

The next 16 round of the international discussions on safety in Transcaucasia has started in Geneva. The South-Ossetian delegation is intending to raise a question on development of the legal document about non-use of force by Georgia against South Ossetia. According to the head of the delegation, the Plenipotentiary of the President of the RSO on questions of the post conflict settlement Boris Chochiev, the necessity of working out this document was being discussed by the participants of the debates for a long time, however we have no any progress today.

"Besides, in the course of the debates the other questions of the humanitarian nature will be also discussed. In particular, the issue of gas supply in Leningorskiy region of South Ossetia. We are also intending to discuss the issues, concerning our citizens listed as the missing ones, – Chochiev has reported the IA "Res" over the phone from Geneva. According to the Plenipotentiary, during the debates it is also planned to discuss a situation on the frontier between South Ossetia and Georgia. The discussions will be continued till June, 7.We should note that the representatives of South Ossetia, Russia, Abkhazia, the USA, Georgia, the EU, the OSCE and the UN take part in the Geneva debates. The South-Ossetian delegation includes the Plenipotentiary of the President of the RSO on questions of the post conflict settlement Boris Chochiev, the Deputy Plenipotentiary Merab Chigoev, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the RSO Murat Dzhioev, the State Counselor of the President of the RSO Konstantin Kochiev and the Representative of the President of the RSO on human rights David Sanakoev.
