Merab Chigoev: the Georgian officials use grass roots in their provocations

South Ossetia declares that it has warned the representatives of the EU Mission of observers about possible infringements of the state border in Dzausky region of the Republic on June, 18-19, 2011 in good time. As the representative of the President of the RSO on post conflict settlement Merab Chigoev has informed the news agency "Res", the corresponding statement was made during the next meeting of mechanisms on prevention of incidents in the village Dvan on June, 17.

«Having the information that the Georgian authorities again want to aggravate the situation during the celebration of the Sanctuary Day in the village Koz, we have officially warned the Georgian side, and we have also officially addressed to the European Union Mission of observers in Georgia with the request to prevent this provocation. But our request has been ignored and the provocation has been carried out», - Chigoev has noted. He has underlined that «the fate of the grassroots living on the territory neighboring to Georgia is often used by the Georgian officials in their provocative purposes». We should remind that today the Dzausky district court has delivered a judgment of expelling the citizens of Georgia from the RSO: Dzheladze T.E., Dzeladze B. A, Dzeladze D.S., Kakriashvili T.J., Markoishvili V. T, Markoishvili G. T, Markoishvili D.M., Markoishvili L.T., Metreveli G. A., V. Sh. Samkharadze for violation of the state border on June, 18 - 19, 2011.
