The President of the Republic of South Ossetia Eduard Kokoity has sent congratulation to the President of the Republic of Nicaragua Daniel Ortega on the occasion of celebrating the 32nd anniversary of the victory of the National Sandinistas Revolution. In the congratulation, in particular, is said: «Your Excellency, mister President, on behalf of people of the Republic of South Ossetia and on my behalf, personally, I ask you to accept the warmest and sincere congratulations on the occasion of celebrating the 32nd anniversary of the victory of the National Sandinistas Revolution.
In 1979 the freedom-loving and heroic people of Nicaragua, having shown high qualities, which had been developing in depths of their souls in the course of centuries - courage and valour, love to their Native land, respect for the roots and sources, belief in justice, -have shown to the whole world steady will to freedom and fidelity to ideals of Augusto Sezar Sandino. Fidelity to ideas of revolutionary renewal, tolerance and patriotism is a basis of success in all future achievements, support of democratic development of the society. Today Nicaragua is a fine country with the richest cultural-historical heritage and traditions, the prosperous progressive state which leadership is implementing social reforms and firmly defends positions of the country in the international scene. Success of revolutionary changes in Nicaragua is caused to a considerable degree that you, Commandante Ortega, have been ruling the country during these decisive years. The skilled politician, the authoritative head and the courageous person, you have devoted your life to serving to people, strengthening peace and the public concord. Results of your activity are shared and meet strong international support. The indelible impression in my heart has left visiting of Managua. With warmth I recollect our meetings and instructive conversations with you. I am convinced in further fine prospect of our relations which are based on bilateral agreements, friendship and mutual sympathy of our people. From the bottom of my heart I wish you, dear President, happiness and well-being, and to the friendly people of Nicaragua – peace and prosperity. Your Excellency, using this opportunity, I`d like to express you my highest respect».
