The panel of the Supreme Court judges of South Ossetia has not satisfied the appeal of the ex-Minister of Defence of the RSO Valery Tedeev, a businessman Khokh Gagloity and the chairman of the public organization «Non-departmental Control Committee» Svetlana Kozaeva against the decision of the Central Election Committee of the RSO, according to which, the mentioned citizens were refused of registration as the presidential nominees. It has been informed the news agency "Res" at the press-service of the Supreme Court of the RSO.

«The court has not satisfied the appeal of the mentioned citizens against the decision of the Central Election Committee of the RSO, made on 10/8/2011, 10/14/2011 and on 10/17/2011 on refusal of registration them as the candidates for the Presidency, - the representative of the press-service has noted. Valery Tedeev, Khokh Gagloity and Svetlana Kozaeva have not been living the last 10 years in the territory of the Republic, that does not meet the requirements of item 1 of article 48 of the RSO Constitution, item 2 of article 1 of the constitutional law of the RSO "About the presidential elections in the RSO" with regard to the candidate for the Presidency of the РЮО and this is the ground for refusal of registration». According to the interlocutor of the agency, the Supreme Court decision is definitive and unappealable.
