A regular meeting in the format of Mechanisms on Prevention and Reaction to Incidents (MPRI) has started in the Georgian village of Dvani, which is bordering with South Ossetia. The meeting is held behind closed doors. As reported to IA "RES" by Deputy Presidential Envoy to the Republic, head of the delegation Merab Chigoev, the South Ossetian delegation once again will raise the issue of the missing persons of South Ossetia.

He has assured that the issue of the missing persons is still the key question to the South Ossetian side. "The fate of our citizens should be clarified. We will also discuss the situation at the border of the Republic of South Ossetia and Georgia, the incidents which happened at the previous meeting and other issues", - Chigoev has underlined. It should be reminded that the agreement on establishing the Mechanisms for Prevention and Reaction to Incidents and the meetings of the working groups from South Ossetia, Russia and Georgia with participation of the EU and the OSCE representatives has been achieved in the fourth round of the Geneva discussions on security in the Caucasus in February 2009.
