The new high-tech equipment will be commissioned this summer in the Bagiata bottling plant. As IA "Res" has been informed by the Economic Development Minister of the RSO Alexei Khabalov, purchased in 2011 a new line for bottling mineral water is able to produce six thousand bottles per hour. "This line will be ten times more powerful than the present one. There is no room in the plant, so we decided to build a hangar. In the coming days representatives of the supplier from Melitopol will arrive in South Ossetia". According to Khabalov, for supplying the Russian market with the plant production the mineral water should be produced in glass bottles.

"Entering the Russian market is a significant flow of revenue into our budget. By our estimate the annual demand for drinking water in the Russian Federation increased at an average for 18%. With the competent pricing policy, perhaps even the Bagiata plant will not be able to cope with the volume of deliveries and we will open other bottling plants"- added the Minister.
He also noted that more than 30 million rubles had been allocated for construction of the new hangar.
It should be noted that the Bagiata bottling plant is one of the largest enterprises in South Ossetia. Mineral water, which is produced at this plant, according to experts, has healing properties and can compete in the world markets with production of the leading manufacturers.
