The recent statements by the president of Georgia point to preparations for a new war against South Ossetia and Abkhazia. This has been said IA "Res" by a Special Representative of the Association of the cross-border cooperation in Central Asia and in the Caucasus Mikhail Chernov, commenting on Saakashvili's statements about the need for active arms production and the establishment of the reserve armed forces of Georgia.

According to the expert, the military preparations of Georgia entered the final stage.
"Of course, Saakashvili has been investing heavily in modernization of the military-industrial complex, in the establishment and strengthening the reserve armed forces and in organization of the territorial defense. All this is essential for Georgia, because Tbilisi is planning the new aggression in the Caucasus", - said Chernov. The expert stressed that the Republic of South Ossetia and Abkhazia could become the objects of aggression, "with the inevitable attempt to shift the fighting into the territory of the Russian Federation in the form of subversive - terrorist war."
According to Chernov, Georgia is coming to a new war much better prepared than in 2008; "apparently, Tbilisi has received some reassurance and support from abroad."
However, the expert believes that regardless of the level of training of the Georgian armed forces, Tbilisi regime once again is playing with fire.
"And this time it will end for Tbilisi much sadder," - concluded Chernov.
