Boxers from South Ossetia are performing in the Russian tournament

Athletes from Tskhinval Soslan Tedeev and Richard Bitiev are taking part in the championship of Russia among young people, which has started today in Kemerovo. This has been said IA "Res" by the coach of the athletes Vitaly Slanov.

"The competition is being held in Kemerovo. Tedeev is performing in the weight class up to 64 kg and Bitiev - in the heavyweight class. This is aqualifying championship, as the winners of the tournament will have the right to represent the Russian team at the Youth World Boxing Championship to be held in Thailand,"- said Slanov. According to him, both fighters before the tournament heldtraining session in the Russian youth team training camp in the town of Chekhov and they are in good form.
It should be noted that in 2010 Soslan Tedeev became a champion of the Russian Federation among cadets and in 2011 – silver medalist of the All-Russian sports contest among students of secondary educational institutions. In 2011 Richard Bitiev won the championship of the North Caucasus Federal District among senior boys; he also became a bronze prize winner of the major international tournament, held in Shymkent (Kazakhstan).
Both athletes are trained in the Tskhinval branch of the boxing club "Ariana" by the honored coach of South Ossetia and Russia Vitaly Slanov and master of sports Alexander Tedeev
