Deputy Secretary of the Russian Security Council has visited South Ossetia

The Russian delegation headed by Deputy Secretary of the Security Council Rashid Nurgaliyev has arrived on an official visit in South Ossetia. In Tskhinval the delegation met with President Leonid Tibilov. The head of the state and guests, accompanied by members of the Government of the Republic, went to Leningor District of South Ossetia, where they became familiar with the construction of social and infrastructural facilities.

First of all the trip participants visited the Leningor district hospital and talked with the medical staff and employees of a construction company "SpetsStroy-progress", carrying out major repairs of this medical institution. As the chief doctor Marina Gigolaeva has noted, the repair of the hospital was made with some defects.
"We have submitted our comments to the construction company`s leadership and they assured that they would promptly eliminate all defects. The builders have promised to complete the repair of the facility by the end of September ", - said the head doctor at a meeting with the participants of the trip.
She also pointed out the shortage of staff in the hospital and the lack of medical equipment in the operating unit.
Rashid Nurgaliyev has told the medical personnel that soon the Republic will be visited by the Russian presidential aide on social and economic issues of South Ossetia and Abkhazia Tatyana Golikova, who will support the Republican government in solving social problems.
"As for the hospital, here must be fully observed all relevant standards," - said Nurgaliyev.
For his part, Leonid Tibilov assured that the leadership of the Republic would provide all the necessary assistance to the district health department. He instructed the head physician of the hospital to prepare the necessary information about the required district health workers.
"In the meantime, specialists from the Republican somatic hospital will be sent to the district; they will work here in shifts," - said the President.
The leadership and the guests also visited the building of the district administration and a military town of the FSS Border Control Agency in South Ossetia. In addition, they familiarized themselves with the construction of the roads of local and national importance.
Following the results of the trip has been held a joint meeting, where were discussed options for addressing the existing problems in the district.
