Judo School athletes from the village of Bekmar in Znaur District of South Ossetia have become winners of the Fourth Open for children and youth games on martial arts of the Republic of North Ossetia - Alania.

"The competitions were held in Vladikavkaz.
Within the frames of the competition were also held such types of martial arts as Thai boxing, Kudo, kickboxing,
sambo martial arts, jiu-jitsu,etc. Our athletes were performing in Sambo "- said Kotaev.
He said the South Ossetian Sambo wrestlers had competed in two age groups -1996 - 1998 and 1999 - 2000 years of birth.
"Our republic was represented at the tournament by Inal Shaverdov, Murat Bikoev, Aslan Jagaev, Akhsartag Tskhovrebov, Akhsar Tskhovrebov and Aslan Gergaulov" - continued the coach.
He has noted that Shaverdov became the winner of the tournament in the weight class up to 27 kg (age group 1999 – 2000 date of birth).
"He had three fights and in all them won a convincingvictory on points. In the same age group the first place in the weight class up to 35 kg was taken by Murat Bikoev, who, like his teammate, had three fights and also won a victory on points, "- he added.
According to the coach, the first places among wrestlers born in 1997 -1998 were taken by Aslan Jagaev (weight class to 45 kg), Akhsartag Tskhovrebov (weight class to 60 kg) and Aslan Gergaulov (weight class over 60 kg).
"On the way to the final, Jagaev won a victory on points in three battles, and in the fight for first place he on the first minute won a victory over the representative of the team from the town of Beslan by effective painful hold of arm - said Kotaev. - Akhsartag Tskhovrebov also won a victory over his opponents on points in the three preliminary bouts, and in the final in view of a clear advantage he won a victory over the athlete from the village of Sunzha, Suburban district of North Ossetia, and also took first place. "
The coach has also added that in the weight class over 60 kg was not equal Aslan Gergaulov, who in three fights won a victory over his opponents on points.
"One more our athlete Akhsar Tskhovrebov won the bronze medal of the tournament in the weight class up to 60 kg. In several preliminary bouts he won a convincing victory, but then on the way to the final, in the huh wrestling, heconceded defeat and eventually won the third place, "- continued Kotaev.
It should be noted that the pupils of the judo school in Bekmar have repeatedly scored successes in various competitions held outside South Ossetia.
