South Ossetia will participate in the festival "Peace to the Caucasus"

South Ossetian delegation will participate in the XV International Festival of Masters of Arts "Peace to the Caucasus." The delegation is headed by the Minister of Culture of South Ossetia Makharbeg Kokoev.
As IA "Res" has been informed by Deputy Minister of Culture Julietta Dzheranova, the State Song and Dance Ensemble of the Republic of South Ossetia "Simd" and the South Ossetian well-known singers will perform in the festival.

"The state ensemble "Simd" has already prepared a program, which contains five dances. In addition, we invited our singers to the festival: Vano Bekoev, Nina Gatikoeva and Sarmat Dudaev, who is a student of the Rostov State Conservatory. They will sing six songs"- said Dzheranova.
According to the Deputy Minister, within the frames of the festival will be held a scientific and practical conference "Anthropology of Conflict and Peace in the Culture of the Peoples of the Caucasus", where will make a speech the honored scientist of the RSO, professor, head of the history department of the South Ossetian Research Institute named after Zakhar Vaneev, Yuri Gagloity.
"The topic of Gagloity`s report -''The Comparative Historical Analysis of National (Peoples of the Caucasus) Versions of the Nart Epic''" - explained Dzheranova.
She added that the South-Ossetian masters would participate in the exhibition of arts and crafts masters of the Kuban and the Caucasus.
"At the exhibition will be introduced the works of the carvers Andrew Kasabiev and Nariman Kalaev. Kasabiev has created famous works, and has been repeatedly exhibited in many cities of Russia. Director of the State Ensemble ''Simd'' Kalaev is also keen on this kind of art, and we've decided to show its creation, "- she said.
The XV International Festival of Masters of Arts "Peace to the Caucasus" will be held in the Krasnodar region, September 6 - 9. The festival will be attended by masters of arts from 15 regions of the South and North Caucasus federal districts of Russia, as well as from South Ossetia and Abkhazia.
