South Ossetian athlete finished second at the Games of Martial Arts

The athlete of the judo school in Znaur district of South Ossetia Soslan Valiev won the silver medal in Sambo competitions held within the frames of the V-th Open All-Russian Youth Games of martial arts, that are being held these days in Anapa.

As the coach of the athlete Inal Gabaraev told IA "Res", "Valiev has fought four bouts, three of them he won on points, but in the final match our sportsman lost on points with insignificant advantageto the representative of the Moscow team and eventually took the second place.
According to the coach, Valiev was performing in the weight class up to 55 kg.
"Valiev is specializing in judo and performing according to the sambo rules, which differ from the rules of judo, is quite unusual for him. This affected the outcome of his final bout. Nevertheless, he won the silver medal in so major and prestigious tournament,"- added Gabaraev.
It should be noted that in 2011 Valiev already become the silver medalist of the IV-th Open All-Russian Youth Games of Martial Arts in sambo. He is also a repeated medalist and a winner of various major tournaments in judo.
At the V-th Open All-Russian Youth Games of martial arts the South Ossetian athlete supported the team of North Ossetia.
