The Ossetian mixed martial arts fighter Alan Gigolaev will hold the title fight in the championship of Georgia (USA) in the weight class up to 70 kilograms. According to the sportsman, he will defend his championship belt in a fight with the American boxer Marcus Jackson.

"Marcus is a very good fighter. He held nine fights, and lost only one of them. Marcus mostly prefers a standing position and striking hold. - said Gigolaev. - I would like to finish the fight by knockout in the first round, but if the fight doesn`t go according to my plan, then, of course, I will try to use my wrestling advantage and will put the opponent to the ground, using suffocative or painful holds."
It should be noted that to date Gigolaev held in the US six MMA fights. Four of them he defeated by choking holds and two - by the decision of the referees. Gigolaev – is a holder of the blue belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. In 2008 and 2009 he became a champion of the state of Georgia in freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling. The athlete is 22 years old. Since 2007 he has been living and training in Atlanta (Georgia. U.S.).
