October 23 a trilateral meeting within the framework of joint Mechanisms on Prevention and Reaction to Incidents (MPRI)will be held at the Georgian village of Ergneti, which is bordering on South Ossetia. This was declared by the RSO Presidential Envoy for post-conflict settlement Murat Dzhioev at the meeting of the President of South Ossetia Leonid Tibilov with the heads of the law enforcement agencies of South Ossetia. He has noted that one of the issues that the South Ossetian delegation intends to raise at the meeting is the issue of the South Ossetia citizens convicted in Georgia.

"At the last round of the Geneva discussions the Georgian side promised that by the end of the year they would resolve this issue. However, tomorrow we shall discuss this problem again "- said Dzhioev.
He has also informed that South Ossetia will once again raise the issue of the missing citizens, noting that in the near future they will make a trip to Mtskheta (Georgia), as there is a large burial place of unidentified people there.
"A dweller of the Znaur district Yuza Siukaeva, whose son is considered the missing, asked us to arrange a trip to Mtskheta through the mediation of the International Committee of the Red Cross. She has reliable information that her son is buried there. She attended the exhumation of 19 graves, but her son was not there. It is planned to exhume a few more graves next week "- said the envoy.
He stressed that at present his staff was collecting biomaterial about the missing persons. This information can be used to identify the dead.
Dzhioev has added, that the MPRI participants are going to discuss the situation in the village of Zardiantkari, bordering on South Ossetia, where in June of this year the Georgian security forces placed a police post, which caused well-founded concern among the inhabitants of this village. "Just yesterday I was requested by the residents of this village to solve this problem", - said the envoy.
Dzhioev has also reported that at the end of the month the Republic is expecting a three-day visit of the Russian Federation government commission on delimitation and demarcation of the state borders.
