The issues of socio-economic cooperation between Russia and South Ossetia will be discussed at the meeting of the Intergovernmental Committee

Today in Moscow will begin the 6th plenary session of the Intergovernmental Committee for Socio-Economic Cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of South Ossetia.
The meeting will be opened by a head of the Russian part of the Intergovernmental Committee, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian federation - Presidential Envoy to the North Caucasus Federal District Alexander Khloponin. The South Ossetian delegation is headed by the Chairman of the Government Rostik Khugaev.

The meeting will also be attended by Presidential Aide Tatyana Golikova and other representatives of the Russian and South Ossetian executive authorities.
The parties plan to discuss the socio-economic areas of cooperation and the investment projects being implemented in the Republic of South Ossetia.
It should be reminded that the Intergovernmental Committee for socio-economic cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of South Ossetia was established in March 2010. Each party delegated powers to 13 heads of the agencies involved in bilateral cooperation.
