According to him, all over the world the most promising branch of economy is tourism.

"It creates the most of employment and income. There are a huge number of historical monuments in South Ossetia. It is not necessarily to build a lot of money in the budget to protect them. You can simply apply to the businessmen from South Ossetia, to assist in the improvement of such places. It is a normal practice, used in all countries "- said Vereshchagin.
According to him, South Ossetia can deliver mineral water to the North Caucasus region of Russia.
"There are a lot of minerals here. This is a very promising area for the Republic. You can produce construction materials - gravel, sand, gypsum, zinc. These points should be examined and assessed. It should be determined the priorities, the most profitable result, "- said the Deputy Minister.
Vereshchagin is confident that if to the development of tourism in the Republic is paid due attention, it will give a very quick effect.
"You have a fine nature and you should use it," - he stressed.
