In the day time of December 2 from the territory of Georgia was fired the South Ossetian KGB frontier post, at the state border near the settlement of Tsnelis in Znaur District.

As IA "Res" has been informed by the press service of the KGB of South Ossetia, the automatic fire was being delivered from the neighboring territory of Georgia, from the height near the settlement of Coda in Kareli district and lasted about 50 minutes.
"The border guard was able to hide in a safe place, none of the South Ossetian border guards was hurt," – has informed the KGB.
It was also noted that the European Union Monitoring Mission in Georgia had been immediately involved in the joint investigation of the incident.
However, the Interior Ministry spread misinformation that December 2 in the territory of South Ossetia was fired a minibus with residents of the settlement Abano, Kareli district of Georgia.
"According to the information of the KGB of South Ossetia, in fact, the incident took place in the territory of Georgia and the South Ossetian side has nothing to do with it", - has been stated at the press service.
