December 21 a professional boxer from South Ossetia Marat Kulumbegov will hold his rating fight.
As a coach of the athlete Robert Pliev said IA "Res", "the fight will take place in Hollywood (USA - Ed.). Kulumbegov will meet in the ring with an American athlete Billy Bailey. The rival of our fellow citizen is 34 years old. As a professional boxer, he fought 27 bouts. 12 of them he won, and four of his wins are KO`s "- said Pliev.
According to him, to date, a boxer from South Ossetia held nine professional boxing fights.
"Kulumbegov won eight boxing matches. Five of them were KO`s,"- underlined the coach.
An athlete from South Ossetia is 22 years old. He performs in the weight class up to 76.203 kilograms.
At the beginning of his career Kulumbegov was trained by the Ossetian master of sports of the international class, the chief boxing coach of the public and state athletic and sports association "Youth of Russia" Robert Pliev.
Since 2010 the athlete has been training in Kiev and is representing the promotional company «Elite Boxing Promotion».
In professional boxing he made his debut in March 2011.
Kulumbegov is trained for the fights by coaches Victor Sidorenko and Vladimir Khodakovsky.
