South Ossetia will not make any contacts with the new Georgian government, if Georgia does not recognize the independence of the Republic and the genocide of the Ossetian people. This has been announced by President of the RSO Leonid Tibilov at the ongoing meeting with media representatives and the public in Tskhinval.

"First of all, Georgia must sign a legally binding document on non-use of force against South Ossetia and Abkhazia, on which we have been working for several years within the framework of the Geneva talks. But the government of Georgia, both the old and the new one, has always avoided this issue," – reminded the president.
The President added that Georgia had to compensate the damage caused to the Republic for 20 years of aggression.
"Within the frames of the Joint Control Commission we assessed the damage. In prices for 1992 it amounted to 32 billion rubles," - said Tibilov.
The president has stressed, that while all these conditions are not observed, any interaction with Georgia is out of the question.
