January 21 the strategy for socio-economic development of South Ossetia to 2030 will be discussed at the round table in the South Ossetian capital. This was said by Economic Development Minister of the RSO Zalina Khugati at a meeting of the President of South Ossetia with the ministries and governmental agencies.
According to her, the strategy consists of several components.
"First of all, this is sectoral programs, which will be presented by the ministries and departments, the program for development of the border areas, as well as a medium-term program for the development of the Republic to 2017, which will be the basis of the investment program to promote socio-economic development of the Republic from 2014 to 2016", - said Khugati.
The Minister has noted that it is a fundamental document that is being prepared by the Russian and South Ossetian experts.
"The round table will be attended by representatives of the public, academia, Parliament, in order to elaborate a single position on the formation of this document important for the Republic", - underlined the minister.
Earlier it has been reported that Russia's "Center for Strategic Research - Region" under the agreement of the Ministry of Economy of South Ossetia is working out the Economic Development Strategy to 2030 and the program of socio-economic development to 2017. The Centre plans to complete its work by the end of March 2013.
