Grappler from Ossetia will fight a bout with the American athlete

A well-known Ossetian grappler, the world champion Rustam Chsiev is performing in the tournament «Professional Grappling League», which is being held in Marlton (NJ, USA). According to the sportsman, during the competition he will fight a bout with the American fighter Drew Puzono.

"This is a major battle of the competition. My opponent is a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Drew Puzon is a very experienced athlete. He is a winner of a major tournament "Grapplers Quest", as well as of major grappling competitions held under the auspices of the NAGA (National American Grappling Association),"- said Chsiev IA"Res."
The Ossetian athlete said he had been intensively preparing for the fight and was set to a decisive victory.
Rustam Chsiev – is a winner of the 2010 World Cup in grappling held by the National American Grappling Association. In 2010 he also finished third at the tournament in California with 32 best world grapplers. In addition, Chsiev became a supreme champion of the tournaments arranged by sports organizations such as Grapplers Quest, ACOM SPORT and NAGA. In 2011 he won qualification round for the World Cup, conducted by the most prestigious grappling organization in the world- ADCC (Abudabi Combat Championship), - held under the auspices of ADCC in London. (Due to the unforeseen circumstances, Chsiev unfortunately was not able to get to the World Cup). In 2011, the athlete from South Ossetia became a silver medalist of the grappling tournament among the 16 best grapplers of the world. Currently Chsiev lives and trains in Fayelfild. He represents a sports club K-dojo. He is trained for the competition by the coach Murat Keshtov.
