Khokh Gagloyty: 17 cases of illegal crossing of the state border were fixed recently

The South Ossetian party called on the Georgian participants of the MPRI meeting to give the residents of the villages bordering on South Ossetia the guidance on prohibition of crossing the state border.

This was announced before journalists by Deputy Presidential Envoy for post-conflict settlement Khoch Gagloyty after the meeting.
According to him, during thecultivation maximum security measures should be ensuredin the border areas.
He has noted that at the MPRI meeting the South Ossetian partyalso raised the issue of the future of the RSO citizen Marik Dudaev, who has been serving a life sentence in the Georgian prison.
"Marik Dudaev was detained in 2003, and during the detention was injured.For ten yearshe is in a poor state of health. We have called on the Georgian party to show maximum interest in him to be pardoned and released, "- said Gagloyty.
He has added, that at the meeting were also discussed the facts of illegal crossing of the state border.
"Since the last MPRI meeting have been established 17 cases of illegal crossing of the state border. Currently five violators are under investigation, and the rest were either fined or deported, "- said Gagloyty.
The parties also discussed the situation in the village of Zardiantkari, whose residents were worried that a few months ago the Georgian police had moved its post closer to the state border of South Ossetia.
