As IA "Res" was informed at the press service of the Russian FSS Border Control Agency in the RSO, for further investigation and prosecution for violation of the law of South Ossetia in the field of border protection the detainees had been handed over to representatives of the KGB Border Service in accordance with the established procedure. They have added, that February 26, in the area of "Mugut" in Znaur district, which is under control of the Border Guards was discovered a cache of weapons and ammunition, consisting of the antitank grenade launcher RPG-26, F-1 grenade with a few fuses, more than 300 units of ammunition for small arms of various caliber.
"The RSO rescuers destroyed the explosives on the spot, the other contents of the cache were handed over to them in accordance with the established procedure," – was said at the press service.
It was added that on February 28 and March 3 in the areas of "Orchosan" and "Tsinagar," Leningor district of South Ossetia was found the Kalashnikov magazine and a signal pistol by Shpagin. The weapons and ammunition were handed over to the Interior Ministry of the Republic.
