The rival of the MMA Ossetian fighter refused to fight

The bout of the Ossetian MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) fighter Alan Gigolaev scheduled for April 12, 2013, was canceled due to refusal of his opponent to fight. According to the athlete, the fight was to be held in Atlanta (Georgia, USA) according to NFC (National Fighting Championship).

"It would have been my first professional MMA bout. I had been training for it very hard and was in good physical shape, but, unfortunately, the fight did not take place,"- said Gigolaev IA "Res."
He has added that at present his managers are considering several candidates to hold their duel with the Ossetian fighter.
Since 2007 Alan Gigolaev has been living and training in Atlanta (Georgia, USA). The athlete is 23 years old. To date, Gigolaev held seven mixed martial arts fights (amateur rules) in the United States and won all of them. In four of them he scored a victory by choke holds, and three – by the decision of referees. Gigolaev is a holder of a blue belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. In 2008 and 2009 he became the champion of the state of Georgia in freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling.
