Prime Minister of South Ossetia met with residents of the mixed Georgian-Ossetian villages

Prime Minister of South Ossetia Rostik Khugaev has met today with the Ossetian population of the mixed Georgian-Ossetian villages in the Tskhinval district of South Ossetia, expelled from their homes in 1990-92.

The Prime Minister has informed the villagers that the government intends in the future to build new homes for people whose houses were burned by Georgian armed bands in the 90's.
"This year it is not provided the funding for the construction of these houses, as long as there is a lot of work on preparation of projects, decision on the territory for construction. In the near future, we intend to proceed with the preparatory work to choose the land, where in the future will be built new houses and then we will be working to include this article in the Investment Program, "- said Khugaev.
He has noted that the management of housing and communal services of Tskhinval district administration will be instructed to choose, together with the inhabitants of these villages, the relevant territory.
The meeting was also attended by the head of Presidential Administration of the Republic of South Ossetia Boris Chochiev.
