Grappler from Ossetia will perform at the U.S. national championship

The Ossetian athlete, the world champion Rustam Chsiev will perform at the U.S. national championship in grappling, which will be held in June, 2013 in the U.S. city of Moristaun. According to the fighter, he will be performing in the open weight category.

"In the U.S. grappling is very well developed, and, of course, the athletes are very well trained. Therefore, the process of training for the tournament should be highly intensive, "- said Chsiev IA" Res".
The athlete has noted that the enhanced trainings will be conducted in accordance with a special program developed by his trainer.
"We will focus on improving the technical and tactical skills, as well on the functional training," - said the sportsman.
He added that the organizer of the tournament was the organization «Grapplers Quest».
At the end of last week Rustam Chsiev won the prestigious tournament «Professional Grappling League» held in the American city of Siklervil (New Jersey, USA). It was attended by four of the best grapplers of the United States in the weight category up to 92 kg. In both fights the Ossetian athlete won a victory over his rivals - a black belt holders in Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
Chsiev – is a ward of the Ossetian wrestling school (coaches Vladimir Gagiev and Savely Biazrov). Currently Chsiev lives and trains in Fayelfild (NJ, USA). Chsiev is a winner of the 2010 World Cup in grappling conducted by the National American Grappling Association. In the same year he finished third in the tournament in California with participation of the 32 best world grapplers. Chsiev has also become the all-round champion of the tournaments organized by the sports organizations, such as «Grapplers Quest», ACOM SPORT and NAGA. In 2011 he won the competition for the World Cup, conducted by the most prestigious grappling organization in the world - ADCC (Abu Dhabi Combat Championship) which was held later in London under the auspices of ADCC (due to the unforeseen circumstances, Chsiev could not then go to the championship). In 2011, the athlete from South Ossetia became a silver medalist of the tournament participated by 16 best world grapplers. He represents a sports club К-dojo. The coach of the athlete is Murat Keshtov.
