The program "Days of the Ossetian culture in Europe" opened in Belgium

May 30 in Brussels has started the Belgian program "Days of the Ossetian culture in Europe." As the news agency "Res" was informed by one of the organizers of the program - the head of the International non-profit association «Renaissance Sandidzan» Radion Pukhaev, the events had begun with a round table discussion on a topic "The Bridges of Cooperation."
According to him, the roundtable is attended by artists, journalists, filmmakers, writers, actors, public figures, representatives of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania and the Republic of South Ossetia, Ossetian diaspora in Europe.

"The roundtable will discuss topical issues, including the role and place of the Ossetian culture in the modern world, the prospects for cooperation between Ossetia and the Western European countries in the field of culture and art, the consolidation of the Ossetians of the world, and other issues", - said Pukhaev.
He has noted that the film "The Belgian Muscovites" by the well-known documentary filmmaker Vadim Tsalikov will be premiered after the round table.
"There will also be a meeting with the filmmaker and the actors of the film" - added Pukhaev.
After the film showing will be opened the III International Exhibition of the Ossetian artists
(a series of works of the project on the Ossetian culture and art "Arv-Art").
"Painting and graphic arts will be presented by Shalva Bedoev, Lavrenty Kasoev, Vadim Kajaev, Magrez Kelekhsaev, Akhsar Yesenov, Igor Toguzaev, Larisa Salbieva and Vadim Pukhaev. At the opening of the exhibition will perform an accordionist Sergei Lekoev,"-added Pukhaev.
The exhibition will run until June 9.
"It is noteworthy that in 2011, at the first exhibition in Brussels ''Reflection'' were exhibited only one South Ossetian artist and his two countryman living in Belgium, - explained Pukhaev. - In 2012, at the second exhibition of the Ossetian artists in Brussels ''Revelation'' were exhibited three artists from South Ossetia and two from Belgium. This year, the exhibition in Brussels is attended by six artists from South Ossetia and two from Belgium. In all, in 2013, nine Ossetian artists will take part in the exhibitions held in four cities of three European countries."
Pukhaev has concluded that on June 2, as part of the events it is planned the design of the pavilion, where will be presented the samples of the Ossetian literature and national clothing, souvenirs, household items, booklets, brochures, national dishes, DVD-drives about Ossetia.
It should be noted that the "Days of the Ossetian culture in Europe" started on May 20 in the Netherlands.
