Two Georgian citizens were detained in South Ossetia for violation of the state border of the Republic. As the news agency, "Res" was informed at the press service of the KGB of South Ossetia, "currently, citizens of Georgia Zaza Khidasheli and Malhaz Edisherashvili are at the Border Service Agency of the KGB of South Ossetia. The detainees are under investigation to establish the circumstances of violating the state border of the Republic."

The detained citizen of Georgia Temur Gigauri was recently fined for violation of the state border of the Republic in accordance with the decision of the judicial authorities of South Ossetia and Thursday, June 20, he was officially handed over to the Georgian authorities.
The agency's interlocutor has also noted that the Georgian authorities spread the claim as if Gigauri was mistreated while being under investigation. This is pure fiction.
"The detainee was visited by representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross. He was able to say about violation of his rights, but we have not any information about his complaints"- said at the press service of the KGB.
