South Ossetian President Leonid Tibilov has received today deputies of the State Duma of Russia Andrey Krasov and Mikhail Krotov.
The head of state, first of all, welcome the guests and expressed his gratitude to Russia for its help and support.

"Russia has fully understood and supported us. Therefore, all efforts in South Ossetia are aimed at supporting the southern borders of Russia ", - said Tibilov.
He has noted that the Republic is currently being restored, adding that the rehabilitation process is not as rapid as he would like it to be.
"Of course, we understand that the recovery process should be more rapid. We realize that we have some difficulties - a year ago was held presidential election. We can honestly say that our society was divided, so a lot is being done to reach a social consensus. We must unite to strengthen our statehood. Russia would also like to see South Ossetia as the developed state with a high standard of living, "- said the president.
According to him, South Ossetia continues to establish contacts with Russia in all areas, including preparation to sign cooperation agreements.
"Active rumors are being spread that with a new leadership in Georgia and the building of new Russian-Georgian relations can be changed the attitude of Russia to South Ossetia. We know that this is not true, and we continue working on a rapprochement with Russia ", - said Leonid Tibilov.
In turn, the State Duma deputy Andrei Krasin said that for the first time he had visited South Ossetia in the midst of hostilities in August 2008.
"This is our common victory, and the people-winner must live well and happily. I was also here during the presidential election. And I can say that in less than a year and a half in the Republic have taken place dramatic changes, "- he said.
The Russian parliamentarian has added that as a member of the Defense Committee, in charge of social sphere, he has studied the issues and problems faced by Russian troops in South Ossetia that must be addressed by Russian Ministry of Defense.
He has also appreciated the bold steps of the authorities of South Ossetia aimed at strengthening ties with Russia.
